About Me
My passion began when talking to my friend, Anne, a local indigenous woman from Dumbleyung’s Wuddi Aboriginal Cultural Tours.
Anne showed me some fruiting Quandong trees and suggested I experiment with making a Quandong Chilli Sauce.
My sauce was a huge success and so began my research into the many different ways of incorporating Quandong into delicious products. Wanting to take my products to a new level, I applied to the Shire of Dumbleyung for a permit to pick the Quandongs, as it is a native plant.
And so my Passion with the JEWELL OF THE DESERT began. Thank you Anne for introducing me to Quandongs.
